It's Friday and I am in my last class. We get out at 12:34 which is nearly an hour away. Time is going by very slowly but that is how somethings work. When you are very excited for an upcoming event, you seem to see everything in slow motion. Time seems to stop for every little detail, and you find yourself bored and annoyed hoping for the day to pass by quickly but it seems to go slower, especially when you look at the clock repeatedly.

December Break
It is the week before Christmas break and Finals have just started. Geometry was today, (Wednesday) and Spanish is tomorrow. Math was not as hard as I thought, but I just hope that i did it right. I finally recovered from my knee injury and can continue playing school soccer. What would have been my first game was stopped because I realized it would not be fair to the other players because I was out of all sports for close to two weeks, while everybody else was trying hard at practice while I sat at home. It would not be right to bench other players who have been working hard to play and I go play for them.
For Christmas break we get two full weeks off. I am very glad because all I have to do during the week is go to soccer practice for three hours Wednesday and Thursday, that's it. It's going to be great!

Thanksgiving
School has been the same throughout the year, it is not easy but it is not very hard. Finals are coming up soon and I am feeling some what confident. I feel that I will only have trouble in two out of seven subjects, which is Math and Spanish. I have never been very good at math, it is always a constant struggle. However I will have difficulty on proofs because I cannot remember the proofs. For Spanish it is hard to remember to conjugate and say the sentence aloud. My brain is not making the connection to remember how to say whatever I need to in Spanish.
For Thanksgiving break, our school got a week off. Saturday and Sunday went by in a blur, all I did was chores, play my Xbox 360, and the necessary needs in daily life. Monday through Wednesday my family and I went to Disneyland CA. I have been there over thirty times, and each time I have returned, there is something new, whether little or big I recognize it. For the first time we got to ride in the kayaks on the river normally that hosts Fantasmic, and the two boats that people can ride in. Did you know, there is a hidden mickey at every attraction and a majority of the stores. They are also in Disney movies. Pretty cool if you ask me. Thursday hen we left Disneyland, we got back too late to have a Thanksgiving dinner, so we had it on Friday. Once again Saturday and Sunday went by in a blur, same thing as the beginning of the week.
Can you find the hidden Mickeys?
I hope so.

Snow
School has been the same since the beginning of the year, I have not seen a real change in anything much but it is nice. We have little homework and the days seem to go by faster during schooldays rather than weekends. The school is infested with druggies, in which grows at a fast rate as the new kids come in. Nobody as far as I am concerned is doing anything about it. I am getting very sick of smelling weed almost everywhere I go. Almost every place I have walked on campus i have seen somebody doing something that involves drinking, drugs, or fights. It occurs in the most wide open spots, but nobody seems to take notice which is an on-going problem. It is sad how people who were or still are followers did not want to be left behind, so they do a terrible, stupid thing, just to stay with the popular kids, in which most of them are drunkards, druggies, gangs, or/and fighters. They are a nuisance at the school but they can't be stopped. Just like in the book and the movie ENDER'S GAME, Mazer Rackham figured out to take out the source of the attack, the bugger queen, and it destroyed the entire hoard. For the druggies, take away the dealer, (bugger queen), and the druggies are out and have nothing left so they will die down and stop.
After last Friday, i remember talking on the phone with my friend Collin, it was about 1:13 A.M. and it began to snow. I was too tired to stay up any longer, so the next day as the forecast had predicted, it snowed, and the snow had stuck. It was approximately 4 inches, and all powder. I got warm clothes on and sled down my hill which is a nearly vertical slope about 40 feet high.

A Day Never to be Forgotten
On the
day of 9-11, in English Nine Honors, we discussed more about the incident. I now know that there was a 5th plane that
in which never reached the target and it landed in a corn field. Also, we watched multiple videos and intros
on the incident itself. It was a really
sad day to learn more of a terrible incident.
On
Friday for cross country practice, we got to have another in town run. Instead of running into town, we ran along
the road a ways until we came upon our destination. It was the Grocery Discount Center. However, considering it was Friday the 13, as
I was running under the giant oak tree right before the store, a giant stick
broke off of the tree and landed on my head!
Evan was busting up laughing when he saw what had happened, and I do
agree it was funny but it still hurt because unlike a soccer ball, it was
heavy.
Also,
since my first soccer game was supposed to be on Saturday, our coach had
scheduled our first practice on Friday.
Sadly, he called and cancelled practice and said we had a buy that weekend L.
On Saturday
instead of playing soccer, I got to ref soccer.
At the end of the day, after I got done refing, my chest felt really dry
where the shirt exposed my skin. When I got home, I realized I
had a V-neck sunburn. It sucked!
Broken to Fixed
I was
extremely ecstatic last week and I still am a little this week. After approximately 4 full days of working on
my go kart, it is finally ready to start.
Since it has been three years since it had been moved, I was slightly
worried. However, all my hard work and
my grandma’s hard work have paid off.
With help from my little brother, we were able to start and run the go
kart just like when it was brand new. By
using my little brother, Hunter’s
help, his momentum’s and my strength, the go kart choked a little on the first
and second pull. On the third attempt,
with a little push on the gas pedal, the go kart started up.
On Friday
after cross country practice, Joe, Evan and I walked the trail we had run the
first time to get into town. After
visiting Jamba Juice for a second time, we then proceeded to head back to our
High School to rest for another exhausting but fun day. After trying a new smoothie at Jamba Juice, I
now have a new favorite. It is Orange
Dream Machine and it is amazing!!!
Over the weekend around seven in
the afternoon I decided to put a new pull cord on our quad that we have. It took about ten easy minutes, and since my
mom and I had replaced the gasoline in the quad, I was able to start it the
next morning and ride it.

Cross Country and Boomers
Last week I have finally developed stamina for cross country. I can now run a mile and ¼ at a
near fast pace. Even traveling up the two
hills in the warm up does not faze me even when it is in the sun.
Friday
morning around 7:50, Joe’s mom came and picked me up. We were going with our Youth Group to eat at
Pete’s Place and talk. It was fun and
nice to meet up with some old friends that I rarely see, even though I go to
the same High School as them.
The
best part of the weekend was going to Boomers with my Youth Group. Joe got kicked off of the go kart track
because he had spun out not only himself but another driver. From his point of view, the first spin out
was one of my leader’s fault, but he was still blamed. The second time, however,
Joe t-boned the leader who had spun him out after I
had accidentally cut him off. It was hilarious when he had to get off. The final time on the go carts, Paul, one of
my friends, threw banana peels onto the track just like in Mario Kart. It did not effect anyone even though he got
two of the three bananas to hit a target.
The funniest part was in the end when Paul drove into all of the cones. That was the best time I had ever had at
Boomers.

A New Form of life
Last week was not very exciting, however, it is a whole new scenario, it is my freshman year and high school is way better than elementary than I thought. The students have more freedom around campus. The two best parts that have made a huge change from elementary is that lunchtime is a buffet instead of a select meal, and the sports practices are every school day. Compared to one to two times a week, high school dominates elementary.
The best part of the week was on Friday after school for cross country practice. It was Friday and instead of doing the normal warm up, which is a mile warm up and stretching, we ran a trail into town then relaxed at Jamba Juice or wherever we wanted too until four thirty, in which we had to walk back to make sure we arrive before five. After wards, I walked back with my friend, Joe, and that was cross country practice for the day.
On top of all of that, the weekend off is a three day because of Labor Day. Over Labor Day weekend, my mom and I cleaned out my grandma’s garage. Afterwards, it has been the first day of working on my families’ red, Briggs and Stratton go kart. I feel very confident that it is going to start, but so far, one of the three tires will not inflate, the other three did. This go kart has not been moved for three years in my grandma’s garage, and for it to be back to it’s full capability would be the best thing in the world. It looks similar to this however it is red, and does not have head lights:

Also, soccer is starting up soon, and I can hardly wait, it is my favorite sport, and I can hardly wait for it to start!
